Welcome to "Govt. Islamia Graduate College Railway Road, Lahore"

Government Islamia College Railway Road is one of Lahore's oldest educational institutions, serving as a historic stronghold for the Pakistan Movement. Foundation: Established as DAV College by the Arya Samaj during the British Raj.

Transition to Islamia College: The Anjuman-e-Himayat-e-Islam later took over the administration. With generous contributions from local Muslim philanthropists, an impressive 8-acre campus was built between Brandreth and Railway Road.

Role in the Pakistan Movement: The college served as a focal point for the freedom struggle. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal frequently visited the campus to address and confer with students
